Patching: Use the same material.
Health & Safety Advisory
Consideration of the usual occupational hygiene. For more information, consult the Label and Material Safety Data Sheet.
SHELF LIFE and STORAGE
Store the unopened original packaging in a cool, dry place at 5°C
The shelf life is 12 months at 27°C.
Chemical resistance
Good tolerance to (salt) water, aliphatic solvents, hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, alcohols, dilute inorganic acids and bases. Poor tolerance to aromatic solvents, concentrated acids and chlorinated hydrocarbons
REMARK
- --SV815 has the potential to use water-based paints on the surface, given the wide variety of paints and varnishes, we strongly recommend compatibility testing prior to use.
- --May increase the drying time of alkyd-based paints.
- --SV815 can be applied to a variety of substrates. However, since specific substrates (e.g., plastics, polycarbonate, etc.) may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, we recommend conducting preliminary compatibility testing.
- --In the production of plastics, release agents, processing aids, and other protective agents are often used. These reagents should be removed prior to bonding.
- --SV815 is not suitable for bonding aquariums.
- --SV815 can be used to bond natural stone, but not for seam sealing on the surface of this material. Therefore, SV835 can only be used on the bottom of natural stone.
- --When applying the sizing, make sure that the surface of the material is not stained by the sealant.
- --Anti-mold formulations should not replace regular cleaning of seams, excessive stains or soap residue can stimulate bacterial growth.
- --SV815 has good UV resistance, but will fade in extreme conditions or prolonged exposure to UV light.
- --Discoloration may result from exposure to chemicals, high temperatures, and ultraviolet rays.
- --To avoid discoloration or loss of adhesion, avoid mixing with asphalt,
- --Tar or other plasticizer-releasing materials (e.g., EPDM, neoprene, butyl rubber, etc.).
- --Do not use in applications where continuous immersion is possible.
