CURE TIME
As exposed to air, SV8800 begins to cure inward from surface. Its tack free time is about 50 minutes; the full and optimal adhesion depends on the sealant depth.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
SV8800 should be stored at or below 27℃ in original unopened containers. It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
HOW TO USE
Surface Preparation
Clean all joints removing all foreign matter and contaminants such as oil, grease, dust, water, frost, old sealants, surface dirt, or glazing compounds and protective coatings.
Application Method
Mask areas adjacent to joints to ensure neat sealant lines. Apply SV8800 in a continuous operation using dispensing guns. Before a skin forms, tool the sealant with light pressure to spread the sealant against the joint surfaces. Remove masking tape as soon as the bead is tooled.

● SV8800 is a chemical product, not edible, no implantation into body and should be kept away from children.
● Cured silicone rubber can be handled without any risk to health.
● Should uncured silicone sealant contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical treatment if irritation persists.
● Avoid prolonged exposure of skin to uncured silicone sealant.
● Good ventilation is necessary for work and cure places.

BASIC USES
SV8800 Two-part silicone sealant with high strength for use as a secondary seal in insulating glass units.
**SV8800 Insulating Glass Sealant is a high strength secondary two-part silicone sealant specifically designed for high strength applications, where conventional sealants with lower strength would lead to increased joint sizes. It enables economical joint sizes in highly demanding insulating glass (IG) applications such as: high wind in tall buildings, hurricane loads, cold-bent glass or high impact loads such as bomb blast. Smaller joint dimensions can be filled faster and therefore lead to productivity enhancements.
**SV8800 Insulating Glass Sealant is ideal as a secondary sealant for triple and double glazed units and meets EN 1279 requirements for gas-filled IG.
**SV8800 Insulating Glass Sealant can be used in IG applications for structurally glazed facades. It is UV resistant, provides long-term durability and excellent adhesion to glass and IG spacers
